I was not planning on shipping anything when I started watching this wonderful show, but then these two met and I went 'those are sparks *throws ship gauntlet down* GIVE IT TO ME'. I own that I wear ship goggles, okay?
Jane is so damaged and guarded, and Celeste is both of those as well. Add to it that fucknut husband was the one who raped Jane, well. They have a lot in common. And I'd love for them to recover together. And maybe also deal with his death (in a courtroom or not). But I'd also love more days at the beach, vacations, school functions, etc. Maybe Tom plays matchmaker or goes 'i'm not the one you want to be here with' or some such (but don't use him as a villain please). Madeline being Madeline about it would be excellent. If you're wondering what that means, maybe her fussing, her being jealous, her being super supportive, her being oblivious and Ed points it out, maybe she catches them in a room in her house during a dinner party, etc. And maybe Ziggy and the twins bonding somehow? Ziggy being super practical in advice for them. Do they find out they're brothers?
I just really want Jane's and Celeste's lives more and more connected, even if it's with coping just enough to stay on the surface.

I don't necessarily like that they're both assholes, but I want Juzo to end up happy, and I think Kyosuke could end up there with him. In happiness. Juzo's massive 'Kyosuke must never know' legit helped bring about the end of the world. Give me the angst of that for both of them. Kyosuke legit killed Juzo, give me angst of that (but Juzo lives, seriously.)
I would love them getting together, because Kyosuke did indeed love Chisa. So I don't mind him grieving, but would love a bit of hope for the both of these dudes.
I don't know what happens in NDRV3, so please skew towards no spoilers for that game. I'm getting it for either Christmas or Valentine's Day xD

Choices - Stories You Play has me wrapped around its goddamn finger. And Endless Summer is my fave of the series. The story is so intricate and the characters are so likable or at least relatable, and I love them all (well, some I love to hate. Rourke, it's Rourke lol).
Jake... oh gosh. So I knew he was a fandom darling, so I was eh at first. And then. I'm obsessed with Matthew Mercer, and he voices McCree in Overwatch, and that's the voice I hear for Jake (he's from Louisiana so add a bit more Creole influence). So. I was hooked on Jake after that. And he and McCree and Mercer all bear a resemblance. My brain says yay. So whenever Jake would kiss MC or just give him attention, I'd get butterflies. My wife at least laughs at me xD
Main Character, I prefer him over her. But since it's a choice, I won't protest if it's a her. They're the same character anyway. It's just aesthetics I guess? Oh, and since the Endless is technically MC, the fic could go Endless/Jake as well and still count. I'm really flexible, as is time on La Huerta lol.
Diego. HE IS SUNSHINE AND POP CULTURE REFERENCES. I love him. And I'd love love love that missing six months. Some things he and Varyyn did, like Varyyn learning English. But I'd also love quiet nights and learning the culture of the Vaanti. Also any time adventures. And post-handfasting. And futures.
Varyyn. I just love that stoic badass who's also a bit of an awkward duck. I'd love him being wary of Diego at first, then succumbing to this young man's charms. Maybe Varyyn's mom (the Elyyshar) sees potential. Maybe after they're handfasted, Seraxa trains Diego in combat? Maybe Varyyn finds out and reacts positively (approval, proud of Seraxa, etc.) OR negatively (I wanna, etc.).
You can choose whichever ending you want for book 3. I uh, may have chosen the one where MC stays on La Huerta and the rest of the world continues to burn? I wouldn't mind MC joining back with Vaanu, as long as he comes back to Jake, please. And I don't know much about the Rourke option. I'm down with anything as long as MC/Jake and/or Diego/Varyyn get to remain together.
