It's my birthday! On this day in the year 1981, I was BORN!

I'm 26. Jesus christ, time flies.

Grandma made me a card. She drew flowers on it, and it's a little folded paper. It's the sweetest god damn thing she's done for me in... probably years. It just... she can be so incredibly mean and spiteful and make me feel so small, but then she does something like this, and I can see so clearly where my mother comes from, where I come from, why she's such a special lady, why my default is to be polite, to respect her.

Ah vell.

I didn't do anything special. I woke up. lol.

This weekend I hung out with Ali and Nicole and Nicole's bf, Chad, and Nicole's brother, Justin. We watched Disturbia, which did not suck, but that might be because I like Shia. And the chick was hot. LOLZ.

And we started watching Fracture, but oh my god, that shit was boring. Why, Ryan Gosling & Anthony Hopkins? Why?

Then Sunday me and Ali watched more Doctor Who. We (okay, I, as she slept for 4 eps LOL) watched the first 5 eps of series 3. So I got up to The Evolution of the Daleks.

Dear lord, I loved Gridlock. A lot. And The Shakespeare Code. I love Martha.

So yes. That's all I've been up to. Heh.

Now I'm trying to finish tweaking my story for teyla_lorne's mini-fest. Work with me, story, work with me!!!

Also, there just plain needs to be more Toshiko Sato fic. Hell. Yes. That new promo? Where she's wearing a leather jacket? Oh yesssss. Even if it's gen fic, more Tosh fic, yes. Dude, I love gen Torchwood fic. LOVE IT. I never, ever read gen fic, in any fandom, but omg, if it's Torchwood, I totally read it.

And there needs to be a proliferation of Toshiko/Rose. And Gwen/Rose. And Donna/Owen, because that would be a massive "WTF, where did I get these drugs???" fic. hahhahaha *thinks about it more*

I need a Torchwood icon besides Gwen. I have 3 Gwen. I have 5 Doctor Who. I should make TW ones. *notes to self*
